RESULT: Client pleaded to Simple Assault (M3) and received one year of probation.

Aggravated Assault (F2) Involving a Stabbing — Lehigh County

Client was charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault in a case involving a stabbing. The defense identified credibility issues involving the alleged victim.

RESULT: Client pleaded to Simple Assault (M2) and received six months, time already served.

Home-Invasion Robbery — Northampton County

Client faced Robbery (F1), Burglary (F1), Theft by Unlawful Taking (F3) and related offenses arising from an alleged home invasion. The prosecution lacked sufficient evidence to proceed against the client.

RESULT: Charges dismissed.

Simple Assault & Harassment — Lehigh County

The defense identified significant credibility issues involving the alleged victim.

Client faced new assault and harassment charges as well as an alleged probation violation and completed a diversion program.

Person Not to Possess a Firearm (F2) & Firearm Without a License (F3) — Lehigh County

Client faced Person Not to Possess a Firearm (F2), Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License (F3), Receiving Stolen Property involving a firearm and related charges. The prosecution’s pre-litigation offer called for 10 years in state prison. The defense litigated a suppression issue involving an allegedly illegal vehicle search.

RESULT: Client pleaded to Receiving Stolen Property and was sentenced to time already served — less than one year.

Recklessly Endangering Another Person — Firearm Discharge — Lehigh County

Client was charged after an alleged discharge of a firearm. Following a hearing, the prosecution failed to present sufficient evidence to support the charge.

RESULT: Charge dismissed.

DUI & Gun Charges — Lehigh County

Client faced DUI and firearm-related charges. The prosecution lacked sufficient evidence to support the gun charges.

RESULT: Gun charges dismissed; client was placed on ARD for the DUI.

PWID — More Than 2,000g Methamphetamine & Firearm Charges — Lehigh County

Client faced felony Possession With Intent to Deliver involving more than 2,000 grams of methamphetamine, Person Not to Possess a Firearm (F2), possession of drug paraphernalia and related charges. The defense challenged the search warrant based on material misrepresentations.

RESULT: All evidence suppressed; charges dismissed.

Controlled Substance & Drug Paraphernalia Charges — Northampton County

Client faced two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The defense challenged the legality of the vehicle search.

Kidnapping (F1), Robbery (F1), Strangulation (F3) & Theft of a Firearm (F2) — Berks County

Client faced kidnapping with intent to terrorize, robbery, strangulation, theft of a firearm and related offenses. The defense challenged the sufficiency of the evidence through a habeas corpus petition in the Court of Common Pleas.

The defense challenged the sufficiency of the evidence through a habeas corpus petition in the Court of Common Pleas.

RESULT: Charges dismissed following the habeas corpus petition.

Insurance Fraud (F3) — Lehigh County

The prosecution lacked sufficient evidence to support the felony insurance-fraud charge.

RESULT: Charge dismissed.

Criminal Mischief (F3) — Lehigh County

Client faced a third-degree felony criminal-mischief charge.

RESULT: Charge dismissed by agreement.

Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury While Not Properly Licensed — Lehigh County

Client faced charges including Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury While Not Properly Licensed and Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended or Revoked. The prosecution lacked sufficient evidence.
